Big Al is proud to currently play live in two bands at the moment! Ensure that you get to see one of them at a venue near you soon!

Having started to play piano and keyboards from an early age, Al soon switched to bass guitar and by the time he was 12 years old, he was playing to his first live audience in bands.

Along the way, Al has been priviledge to have played with a number of great bands and also venture in to studios to record with some too!

After years of travelling up and down the British motorway network, Al has clearly settled down in a "normal" job and as such, limits his playing to the North of England. He is currently in rehearsals with a reforming "Remote", with who he used to play with many years ago and also with the sensational trio "D.N.A."

D.N.A. derive their name from the three members of the band; Dave, Norman & Al. The three of them having played together previously in the highly acclaimed Stiflers Mom and prior to that, Norman & Al were the rythym section behind the outstanding acid jazz band "Lipservice"

Have you ever been to bed with a big, middle aged, balding, Northern guy?

Well, why not finish your day off with Big Al?

Al presents the Mid-Morning Show between 10am and 2pm every weekday on the all new 96.2 The Revolution.

You could get your favourite song played on the radio, give him a call and have a rant at him down the phone, or pit your witts against him on the adictive feature call "Big Al Knows Revolution Land!".

Ask Al any question you like about anything in Revolution Land, regardless of how bizarre and there's a good chance that he'll know the answer! Barmy!

Big Al is in great company and his collegues include the legendary Steve Penk (The wind-up King!), Gary King, Elliot Eastwick, Jay McCreary, James H Reeve, Wayne Dutton and the former "Mulleteer" Pat Sharp!
